Consignment Terms & Conditions

1. Commission & Payouts

You earn 60% of the final sale price (after platform fees). Payouts are made via PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo on the 1st or 15th of each month for finalized sales.

2. Item Ownership & Authenticity

You confirm you are the legal owner of all items submitted and that they are 100% authentic. Counterfeit items will be returned at your expense or responsibly discarded.

3. What We Accept

We accept items that are:

New, like-new, or in excellent condition
Clean, functional, odor-free, and on-trend
Free from damage, excessive wear, or fast fashion labels

Unaccepted items must be reclaimed within 7 days of notice or will be donated.

4. Pricing & Listing

Stuff Youd Want sets pricing based on brand, condition, and market trends. Items are listed on top resale platforms and may be repriced to support optimal sell-through.

5. Consignment Period

Each item is consigned for 90 days. After that, you can choose to:

Have it returned (shipping at your cost)
Donate it to a selected charity
Relist for another 90 days

If no response is received within 7 days of notice, items may be donated.

6. Risk & Liability

We take great care with your items, but Stuff Youd Want is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft. You may obtain personal insurance if desired.

7. Promotion

Items may be featured on Poshmark, eBay, Vestiaire Collective, and Facebook Marketplace. Promotion is not guaranteed and is at our discretion.

8. Sales Report

You’ll receive a breakdown of sold items, fees, and payout. Donated items will be noted in your payout report.

9. Modifications

Any changes to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. All disputes will be handled within New Jersey courts.
